High-drama Harry arrives in the UK in a dust storm of chaos, with his will-he-won’t-he approach irritating the Royal Household so much they barred his late acceptance (previously OKed and then rejected) of an offer of a Buckingham Palace stay.
He also chose to arrive as the judgement of his privacy case against the Daily Mail was due, a tendentious matter which King Charles would wish to keep at arm’s length. As it transpires Harry has lost, with the dismissal of every single one of the 97 claims made by himself and the six other claimants. A hearing on costs which could be as high as £50 million will be heard later this month.
Paul Dacre, former DM supremo described him as a ‘confused and angry young man’ which could be taken with a pinch of salt given the speaker. But there is a sense of whirling mayhem around Harry, a force field of havoc and turmoil, fuelled by a cauldron of anger and paranoia. Which aged nearly 42 is not good. Don Quixote still tilting at windmills.
Part of it must be his intense 8th house Virgo Sun square a volatile Mars in Sagittarius and also square a less-than-realistic 12th house Neptune (in an overly hopeful conjunction with Jupiter). His Mercury in the 8th is in a headstrong and outspoken square to Uranus.
His Taurus North Node in the 4th is also not a help since he will tend to reject all constructive advice. Behind his smiles he will be defensive, ‘like a wounded animal’, constantly plotting and planning intrigues against others he instinctively assumes as having ulterior motives. Moderation is not an aptitude easily acquired. Family relations are one area where the turmoil is likely to hit hardest. Only once he recognises that what he sees in others is a reflection of his own unconscious will he pull away from self-destructive behaviour. Schulman says: ‘ As he reaches his Taurus North Node he is reaching at last for stability… Ultimately he is destined to reach a state of contentment as the seething volcanoes of Scorpio melt.’
Since his North Node falls in his 4th he needs to build stronger, emotional foundations for his life, instead of achieving a great destiny. Put his own house in order before setting out to solve the world’s woes – of which this court case could be seen as a distraction from his rightful path. Pride, vanity and status (all 10th house issues) need to be pushed aside in favour of matters of the heart.
His Chiron falling in his 5th house will make him feel he is constantly denied an appreciative audience and in opposition his Uranus will make him question all traditional and conventional approaches – which is tricky with a Royal background. His Chiron is also opposition Antares which is exactly conjunct his Uranus – which latter can bring about ‘abnormal and extreme ideas, hypocritical, lies and exaggerates, disharmony with relatives’. (Astrology King.)
Several other asteroids are concentrated in his 3rd house of communication and siblings – Eris (conflict and catalyst), Scheat (unfortunate), Black Moon, Sedna (betrayal) – which might suggest that he is not designed to win medals for his views and brotherly love may be lacking. In the 4th house of family and roots – the destructive Algol and Chariklo (eternal suffering).
His notable harmonics all have a conspicuous Mars and seem to veer towards the negative.
5th harmonic: Can be creative but also freedom-loving, irresponsible, sensationalist, self-indulgent, deceitful
7H: Can be spiritual and a seeking soul. Also sceptical, critical, sarcastic, self-centered, attracted to alcohol/ drugs.
10H: “The wheel of Fortune” contains the seed of both rise and fall, of the good and the bad.
13H: Upheaval, change and rebirth. Exploration and breaking with the orthodox. It requires adaptation to change to be successful.
18H: Strength, material success, but also conflicts and enemies.
19H: Not a lucky number, ‘karmic’ in the sense that the person is forced to develop their individuality.
I am genuinely sorry for him since behind all the pandemonium he could be a likeable soul. My initial thought from years back was that he was a spoilt brat, born into privilege and wanting all the trappings with none of the responsibilities. Probably also with a few mental quirks coming out of a hothouse family. I never bought the poor-me ‘spare’ argument which Princess Margaret used as a hobby horse as well. Everyone walks behind someone in life and they both could have/had a fulfilling life developing their talents had they so chosen.
But excuses wear thin after the midlife crisis which he is in the middle of now. Tr Pluto squared his Pluto two years back, and Neptune squared his Neptune last year with the final piece of the mid-life passage to come as tr Uranus opposes his Uranus next year. Carl Jung believed those who made this transition successfully by wakening up and sorting themselves out went on to live a vibrant second half of life, while those who didn’t, would stay stuck in old negative patterns.
He looks directionless at the moment with his Solar Arc Midheaven conjunct his Neptune this year; and his 8th house Mercury being rattled by tr Uranus in square this year and early next which will bring strain – some of it financial. Tr Neptune is also square his Jupiter for disappointment (some financial as well) which runs on and off till early 2028. Plus a handful of undermining Solar Arcs running on to the end of the decade.
Jupiter moving through his 8th from this August for a year may help on the financial front and also in promoting psychological growth. By 2031 his Solar Arc Midheaven will conjunct his 12th house Jupiter for a glimmering of sunshine breaking through metaphorically speaking so he may be en route to a more together life thereafter.
ADD ON:
Princess Margaret, 21 August 1930 9.22pm Glamis, Scotland, had a Leo Sun conjunct Neptune in her 6th house of health (a hint that excess drink/drugs not a good idea). She had a rebellious, defiant Uranus in her 1st (shades of Prince Andrew) which opposed Venus and squared a super-confident (over-entitled) Jupiter Pluto conjunction opposition a 10th house Saturn – bucket loads of initiative, highly restless, but crisis-prone. Not really similar to Harry.
The Duke of Windsor had an Aries Mars square Sun, and his father Prince Philip had a Sun Mars in Gemini square Saturn – so go-ahead, assertive Mars is a Royal trend.

Age 42 made me think of his recent tr Pluto square natal Pluto, an extremely difficult time (as I remembered for myself); in his case, tr Pluto in his 1st house, natal Pluto in his 9th, which also contains Venus and Saturn – Meghan/US?, not turning out quite as well as he’d hoped for – so still dealing with upheavals, and power struggles. Could also explain the paranoia.
If I recall correctly what I’d once read, the order of the planets is important, since any transit or aspect will follow the same order in time; again looking at his 9th, love first with Venus, then transformation & power struggles with Pluto, and finally Saturn, as he realizes the heavy price paid and what he’s lost.
Another Whole-signs viewpoint (no offence intended), a planet or planets in the 12th House, especially when close to the Ascendant, often indicate a tendency to self-sabotage, it’s the rulership of the 12th over ‘secret enemies’ that does it.
In Prince Harry’s case his Jupiter conjunct Neptune lying either side of the cusp between 12th and 1st seem to have created inflated fears (‘fears’ are ruled by the 12th as well) which he projects outwardly onto imaginary ‘open enemies’ (7th) and ‘the Establishment’ (10th), whilst not realising he is his own worst enemy.
I wish I could see a moment of revelation in his natal chart for his sake, but I can’t, perhaps someone else can?
Yes, the ‘secret enemy’ being oneself
Indeed, I should have added that shouldn’t I, thanks.
Changing the topic ever so slightly to the children of Prince Harry, it is a shame that they have not spent more than a few hours with their paternal grandfather, uncle and their families.
As it happens, that mirrors very closely the situation of a cousin of mine, who moved to a fairly remote town far away. His wife, the mother of his children, does not allow the children to interact with family members on either side of the family, not even her own parents. Video calls are strictly monitored with physical presence of one or both parents required and limited to half an hour every week. And actual visits are limited to a couple of days a year at the most.
Which astrological charts should I look at to get a better understanding of such a situation? The children’s, the wife’s or the cousin’s?
I feel for the children of both my cousin and of Prince Harry. My mother had issues with her in-laws, my father’s family (sometimes they were not on speaking terms), but she made sure that I would spend a few hours with them every weekend and always reminded me that they were my family too.
Don’t know if anyone else has picked up on this, but I get the feeling that Archie isn’t the golden child, but Lilibet most certainly is.
The other odd thing is that Archie is always photographed with Harry and Lillibet with Megan. Who IRL does that?
Also no one seems to see them or hear them or know which school they attend.
One thought that I find interesting is that he left UK and wanted a decreased royal position/presence and made the decision to move away from the gruelling spotlight and yet all he has done is try to chase it and draw attention to himself and his family.
I do not understand Harry & Meghan?
I think Harry and Megan don’t either – if that helps, Pisces Rising~~
Amusing, very good.
‘His Mercury in the 8th is in a headstrong and outspoken square to Uranus.
His Taurus North Node in the 4th is also not a help since he will tend to reject all constructive advice.’
Such a shame because I was thinking that with his money and access he has every potential to sort himself out in therapy. I thought he did do therapy but clearly if he is not hearing what he wants he rejects it?
I believe usually in cases like these life (God) throws you a rock bottom moment to force you to sort yourself out. He’ll get there whether he goes nicely or by force. Life has a way of doing that.
Life is a cruel teacher
It gives you the test before it gives you the lesson
(Quote: can’t recall where I read that but it has always stuck with me so I will say ‘Unknown’)
I don’t understand the therapy thing either. Therapy is about change, acceptance, forgiveness (or whatever word you use) of oneself and others, understanding.
It’s a long, painful, ultimately calming process where you learn who you are and why you think/behave/react the way you do. You then can live with yourself in some sort of peace and understanding.
One can only assume that Harry is mid/process or as you say, that he doesn’t listen or understand.
When people throw around the therapy word they can sometimes mean – I went sporadically for three months. Not the long and painful years-long process that might bear results. It also is not for everyone. Some dislike it as invasive or making them feel vulnerable and small, so they put up the shutters and refuse to engage.
“I never bought the poor-me ‘spare’ argument which Princess Margaret used as a hobby horse as well.”
Indeed, I was going to ask you, Marjorie, to do a compare between Prince Harry and Princess Margaret.
In my culture, there is a saying about the shadow of the uncle being cast on the nephew/niece.
And the royal family definitely seems to suggest a “chess knight” kind of influence on relatives.
There are echoes of the Duke of Windsor on his great nephew, the King. Similarly, there are echoes of Princess Margaret on her great-nephew, Prince Harry. Earl Mountbatten influenced both his nephew, Prince Phi
lip, and when younger, the King, his great nephew..
In Vedic astrology, each house is assigned to a family member and how they would interact with the person whose chart it is. I wonder (question for Rachana) if there is a house assigned to the great uncle/aunt.
Years ago before Harry and MM marriage, astrologer Jessica Adams wrote about the uncanny similarities of MM with Princess Margaret. (17 December 2016 post on her website)
So it will be interesting to see more similarities with all 3 of them.
I will look that up. Thank you.
I was thinking about some stuffs Ja wrote and I am not sure surw whether or not Harry’s wallet got cleaned up or not, but he sure has his friends and family cleaned up. And now is alone. Sad.
🙂 I was controlling too hard but then saw my name and had to respond ..yes, very much..shockingly my maternal aunt though I met her only during summer vacations and spend rest of year n now whole year with my paternal aunt and though all beleive I m closer to paternal, which is true but shockingly my chart has same planets in same houses as the maternal aunt.
I last year, revealed this to paternal relatives and my mom is scared since then but i m grateful to my paternal relatives their love didnt chnage a bit perhaps they r used to watching me grow with my mother’s face (who ia their designated enemy till this morning :-)) with my granny (their mother’s) temperament.
My brother has features like my maternal uncles and same for my cousin brothers- they r like their maternal uncles.
Offsprings r beautiful amalgamation of Nature’s previous creations
Sorry if I went on my family track in response. I m not good with vedic but western circular chart has 11h as aunt n uncle.
Google images has circular chart with each house inhabitants.
12h of ancestors,not grandparents who r seen in 8h
I have found it true
I would check with my astrologer friends about vedic.
His current SA ASC inconjunct Sun adds timing potential for an awkward, uncomfortable disconnect between his public presentation and how he wants to be perceived. And possibly feeling misunderstood or dissatisfied in relation to his father (Sun).
He wants power without responsibility. I don’t think that’s going to work for a man with Saturn on the MC and a Capricorn Ascendant.
Have to say, it was quite nice to hear so little about them for the past year or two. If they had just come over; shown off the children; been seen with Charles etc, etc; it could all have been so rehabilitating and some of the past problems forgotten. Instead it turns into a rehash of the drama about security, the papers and so on; I find myself just eye rolling and really not caring whether they come or not.
There is an English idiom that says “An apple doesn’t fall far from a tree”, looking at Prince Harry’s troubled life of drama and controversy, he looks very much like someone who has inherited a lot from his mom. Princess Diana’s life was full of controversy, I am also worried that history might repeat itself and his life can end in tragedy too. He is on a low profile now, with Saturn on his 1st quadrant and now transiting his 3rd house. Over the coming years around 2028/29 Saturn will move into his 4th house of family and home, which suggests problems at home, his marriage will end , if it survives the current storms. Pluto on his 1st house is forcefully transforming his image for a couple of years. He is a changing man, he is undergoing a metamorphosis process.
I feel for Prince Harry. He bolted, regrets it, and now has to book accommodation just to stay with family. Most parents would welcome their son back and his wife and kids – even last minute. And especially ones with sprawling palaces! Prince William particularly seems unforgiving. Harry must really miss his mum.
William,I’m sure misses his mum, too. He,though, is dignified, dutiful and has a self deprecating human air about him.Harry is the typical wounded victim-the worst of Virgo traits-not self reflective and seems to be constantly lashing out and blaming everyone and it’s a tiresome trait.
He needs to do some deep reflection and eventually apologize to his immediate family for dragging them into his dramas.
I hope his solar return or transits in the future can assist him in his much needed personal growth,
He might be all of those things but parents can usually forgive that. I think there is hurt and mistrust on both sides.
But they are not ‘most parents’. His father is King, a constitutional position with Constitutional issues to uphold, the apex of our Constitution. His brother William has Constitutional duties too. Harry’s childlike view that because his father is king he can wave a magic wand and give him what he wants is just not possible.
If Harry conducted himself and family affairs privately without constant statements and leaks, perhaps he could reconcile with the family or arrangements could be made for his accommodation, but he and his wife persist on all out publicity campaigns, faux royal tours, appearances etc which don’t help either of them and which tarnish the Royal Family and UK. Boeing have just joined others who have ceased to sponsor Invictus, which is largely down to their behaviour. They are no longer an asset to be associated with and it’s their fault.
I agree, The King should have offered to house him in Sandringham, next to his uncle.
He still can not believe that QE2 said no to their public demands (which is in a public findable document) of “half in and half out.” He never thought she would say no. Perhaps that is the 8th house influence. This court ruling was over 400 pages long and H has the temerity to insinuate that this judge is corrupt. And yes he was offered BP but missed the deadline to respond. Once he missed the deadline, game over. And no, BP staff do need time to accommodate and don’t operate “last minute.” Shauna Kay on YouTube talks about how the BP staff actually operate. Naturally, H might miss his mother and at same time, H has publicly said that he doesn’t remember her. He ruined her legacy for me. I was in the dark about her multiple affairs and manipulations until he started to dine on her memory and the info was much more available to newly discover. Hopefully, there will be a reckoning re African Parks, Sentebale and other murky financial dealings. Rachel the Curious Pilot on YouTube delves into their finances which is enlightening.
According to one paper Harry has now attacked the Judge accusing him of a whitewash! I think is Uranus/Mars conjunction may not like authority per se. Can’t wait for transiting Pluto to trine his Uranus, he may have a go at the ultimate authority – God – as well?
Do you use a relocation chart? As I thought fof Monteceito his sun goes into the 12th?
Marjorie did a relocation chart for Prince Harry in Montecito in her post on him on 3rd May 2025.
The chart there is a lot easier to read as there are just the traditional planets and the Part of fortune.
Montecito also puts Pluto in the first House, which can’t be a comfortable location for it.
